Elizabeth Faber lives in Clear Lake, IA with her husband Kurt and their three young sons, Will, Charlie, and Sam. She has an undergraduate degree in health science from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO and a masters in public health degree from the University of Minnesota. Elizabeth is MCHES-certified. Elizabeth has previously worked in public health program planning and evaluation in the areas of substance abuse prevention. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Iowa Region 2 Public Health Preparedness Director serving 18 counties in north central and northeastern Iowa with the CDC's Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant. She assists the local agencies with emergency preparedness grant requirements. Her professional passion is serving as a strong advocate for strengthening public health at the local level. In her free time Elizabeth and her family love to travel but her favorite location is her family lake cabin in northern Minnesota. |
